As each of our pens are custom made from a range of stunning timbers, each piece is genuinely one of a kind. Plum heartwood can exhibit a cornucopia of colors, typically a yellowish brown, with streaks of pink, orange, red, purple, olive, or gray mixed in. Because of the small size of plum trees, swirled or irregular grain, as well as knots and other irregularities are common. It has a fine texture with close grain and a slight natural luster, making it a beautiful timber to work with. As always, our timber is sourced from sustainable avenues.
