The Erin pen features intricate Celtic Knot scrollwork on the tip, clip and end as well as an emerald color cabochon on the end. The Celtic Knot motif dates back to 5th century and represents the truth of eternity and interconnected spirit. Your gift recipient doesn’t need to be of Celtic origin to appreciate this pen; the symbolism of Celtic culture is universal. The Antique Pewter finish is formulated to simulate the sophisticated sheen of time-worn pewter. The authentic patina and natural darkening brings out the details of the finish and creates a unique feel with a charm all its own. As each of our pens are custom made from a range of stunning timbers, each piece is genuinely one of a kind. Our Ancient Red Gum pens are created from wood salvaged from a Quarry a number of years ago. This particular timber has been carbon dated and is approximately 5,000 years old. Natural Red Gum is close grained and red in colour…being buried for many years the soil has impregnated the wood, turning our timber to near black.
